Rodney first fell in love with photography as a child growing up in Saskatoon.  Although he does photograph inanimate objects, Rodney's passion is for photographing people.

Rodney has been living and photographing in Winnipeg since the spring of 2000.  In the fall of 2003 Rodney joined Joel Ross Photography where he spent 4 years developing the maternity and newborn brand.  In the fall of 2003 Rodney was also elected to the Board of the Professional Photographers Association of Canada - Manitoba where he currently serves as Vice President.

In his personal work, Rodney's passion is photographing people. His projects range from photographing the less fortunate and those whom society looks down upon and photographing the miracle we call the human body in new and imaginative ways.  Within all of these projects there is the common element:  people being captured in a way as to portray them with the utmost in dignity and respect.

Rodney's biggest inspirations are his family and his faith. His wife and three kids always seem to put a smile on his face and inspire him to go to the next level in his work. His faith helps him to see people through the eyes of our creator.
