This tour features two National Parks in the California: Death Valley and Yosemite. Travelling in the month of June will hopefully allow for capturing the gorgeous waterfalls from spring run-off in Yosemite. We are scouting this month for other stops in this beautiful state, focusing on new scenery along the ocean.
Death Valley is a hot destination. The Mesquite Dunes will be our focus, but we will also travel along Artists Drive to “Artist’s Palette” and Zabriskie Point to capture the unique rock formations. The amount of time and exertion in the heat will be minimized, and our accommodations include a pool. Death Valley is a unique experience not to miss.
“A highlight for me was the night in Death Valley, where I learned how to take night shots. It was amazing! I never thought I would be able to take those kinds of shots.” ~ 2016 tour participant
Yosemite National Park is known for its waterfalls, granite dome formations, ancient sequoia trees, meadows, lakes and rivers. The variety is unbelievable. The changes in elevation provide a wide range in temperature. When we visited in August, we went from 38 degrees in the morning at Death Valley, to 18 degrees in the evening at the highest elevation. Outside the park near is wine country. Your camera will never leave your hands!
Our tour makes its picture-perfect ending in San Francisco (subject to change).
This trip will be running in June of 2018.
